Looking for a quick way to immerse yourself in the great outdoors without committing to a full Camping trip? Look no further than our Day Use area! With thirty sites available on a first-come, first-served basis, you can easily plan a spontaneous day trip with family and friends. Spend quality time outdoors, unwind, and have fun without any of the hassles of Camping. Please keep in mind that availability is subject to change based on overnight Camping reservations. Don’t miss out on the chance to make unforgettable memories!
THE SCENE
We’re excited to let you know that twenty-four out of our thirty Day Use sites offer direct Riverfront Access. This means you can enjoy stunning views and bask in the sun all day long. Each site is equipped with a fire pit that comes with a fold-over grill for easy outdoor cooking. You’ll also find a concrete or wooden picnic table where you can relax and have a tasty meal with your loved ones. The best part is that Electricity is included in the Day Use fee, so you can charge your devices and even use fans to stay cool!
ACTIVITIES
To make the most of your day trip, you’re welcome to bring grills, canopies, coolers or ice chests, tubes, kayaks, and fishing gear. However, please ensure that you have a valid Texas State Fishing License if you plan on fishing.
RIVER LAWS
We kindly request that you adhere to the Comal County River Laws while enjoying the stunning river. Please note that glass, styrofoam, or containers with a capacity of less than 5 oz are not permitted in the river. OVERNIGHT GUEST
Whether you’re spending the afternoon with family & friends, stopping by for dinner, or staying overnight, visitors of registered campers must purchase an Overnight Guest Pass.

"What To Know, Before You Visit"
Visit Monday through Thursday during Peak Season and receive 25% off Day Use admission. Arriving after 5:00 p.m.? Receive 50% off Day Use admission and enjoy the river during the quieter evening hours.

Day Use is available DAILY during Peak Season.
*Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays require a $50 minimum purchase.
Due to overnight camping occupancy, Day Use availability is very limited on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays generally offer the best opportunity for weekend Day Use access, with additional sites becoming available throughout the day as overnight campers depart.
During the Spring and Fall seasons, Day Use is available Thursday through Sunday only. A 25% discount is applied to Day Use admission during this season, subject to a $40 minimum purchase requirement.
Weekend availability is generally good, with Fridays and Sundays typically offering the best site selection. Saturdays may become more limited during periods of higher demand.
We are proud to offer a 10% Military Discount on Day Use admission, along with complimentary vehicle admission for the vehicle occupied by the service member or veteran presenting a valid military ID.
The discount applies only to the Day Use guests traveling in the same vehicle as the individual presenting the valid military ID. Guests arriving in separate vehicles are not eligible for the discount unless they present their own qualifying military ID.
This discount is available year-round, including weekends and holidays, and may be combined with other applicable Day Use discounts.
Example: A military guest arriving with family members in one vehicle would receive the discount for all Day Use guests in that vehicle. Family members arriving separately in another vehicle would not be eligible for the discount.
Campsite capacities vary by location and accommodate between 10 and 16 guests. When you arrive, simply let our Camp Staff know how many people are in your group, and we’ll help select the best available site. Depending on group size and availability, an additional campsite may be required. For the safety and comfort of all guests, occupancy limits may not be exceeded.
Groups of 10 or more may secure an additional campsite when available. Our Camp Staff can help arrange sites upon arrival.
RIVERFRONT: #59 – #68, #101 – #114 *River access 5 – 10 feet.
HILLTOP: #115 – #120 *River access is available via staircases to the river 25-50 feet.
